Scott Anderson, CLU, CHFC, LUTCF

Scott Anderson has over 35 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry. He is a graduate of Ohio State University with a double major in Finance and Insurance & Risk Management. Scott began his career in 1989 and went on to form Anderson Financial Services with his father in 1995. He takes pride in being a trusted resource for both individual and corporate clients navigating important financial decisions.

Scott holds a Life and Health Insurance License and FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 registrations. He has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations from the American College of Financial Services. He is an Investment Advisor Representative of Osaic Wealth, Inc.

Locally, Scott is a member and past president of both the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) – Cedar Rapids, and the Society of Financial Service Professionals – Eastern Iowa Chapter. He is also a member of the Cedar Rapids Area Estate Planning Council. Scott is an active Junior Achievement classroom volunteer.

Scott and his wife Jill live in Cedar Rapids and have two grown daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, golf, pickleball, and cheering on Ohio State athletics.

Qualifying membership in the MDRT is based on minimum sales production requirements and gross business generated within a year. Each MDRT status designation is granted for one year only. All members must apply every year to continue their affiliation with the Million Dollar Round Table.
